Amman, Dec. 18 (Petra)-- The National Aid Fund conducted a series of capacity-building workshops with Oxfam in Jordan with the goal of enhancing the Fund's employees' abilities in the areas of economic empowerment and beneficiary communication.
Seventy-five Fund staff, as well as several partners and beneficiaries, attended the workshops, which took place in the northern, central, and southern areas. In order to increase beneficiaries' long-term economic resilience, they concentrated on creating effective communication skills, fostering trust, providing behavioral guidance, and giving participants useful tools to address beneficiaries' concerns around the suspension of aid.
The Fund's Director General, Khitam Al-Shneikat, stressed that these training sessions improved the Fund teams' comprehension of the requirements and worries of beneficiaries, dispelled some myths, and assisted families more successfully in economic empowerment opportunities.
She went on to say that because Oxfam helps to improve beneficiaries' continuity in empowerment programs and develop and increase staff capacities, the Fund valued its cooperation with Oxfam.
Ayoub Yassin, the External Relations Director for Oxfam in Jordan, stated that the organization is pleased with its collaboration with the National Aid Fund to assist front line employees and improve the standard of services offered to families throughout the Kingdom.
He pointed out that these workshops represent a continuation of Oxfam and the Fund's long-standing collaboration and demonstrate their mutual dedication to increasing chances for economic empowerment for the most marginalized populations.
It is important to note that the Fund is implementing these seminars as part of its efforts to improve staff productivity and assist beneficiary households in making the shift from receiving aid to attaining sustained economic empowerment.
